01 Philosophy An honest garment
Made to measure.

BUND was born from constant research into materials, cutting techniques and industrial construction. Every BUND is the outcome of that work applied — a suit built to improve with time, fit naturally and carry the important moments without giving way.

No synthetic fabric. On-demand production. Piece-by-piece review. That's been the standard since the first pattern.

02 Principles Four commitments

The framework that holds every garment.

01 Natural fabrics

Natural fabrics

Fibres selected thread by thread. Zero polyester, zero synthetic blends. The fabric breathes and ages well.

02 Merino wool

Merino wool

Italian cloths woven in the historic Biellese mills. Exemplary drape, hand-feel and durability.

03 White-glove review

White-glove review

Buttonhole-by-buttonhole review until the piece meets the standard. If anything fails, it's remade.

04 On demand

On demand

Only what's ordered is made. Zero surplus, zero waste, zero rush.

03 Anatomy What's inside
Interior detail of a BUND
Interior construction — hand-pick stitching along the lapel.

Dissecting a BUND.

A well-made suit is a compendium of invisible decisions. The choice of wool, the type of canvassing, the degree of shoulder opening, the buttonhole technique. Small gestures that, taken together, mark the distance between a common garment and one built with craft.

04 Finishing Signs of craft

Four gestures that set a premium garment apart.

Technical details that, read up close, tell the difference between a common jacket and one built with craft. The tailor's visible code.

01

S-Number

The Super system (100s, 180s…) measures wool-fibre fineness in microns. The lower the micron count, the softer and more drapey the cloth. Every suit is built with the optimal grade for its use.

02

Working buttonholes

Functional sleeve buttonholes are an unmistakable signature of artisan tailoring. A legacy of the nineteenth-century gentleman, who never removed his jacket in public.

03

Heel guard

A reinforcement band sewn inside the trouser hem to protect against shoe rub. At BUND, always 2.5 cm high — exact measurement.

04

Hand-pick stitching

Irregular hand stitches along the lapel edge. A sign the piece is built without adhesives or heat-sealing — the tailor's hand, visible only up close.
