Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know to take the step to your first bespoke suit, manage your order and get the most from every piece.
Getting started
BUND is a bespoke tailoring house that combines artisan tradition with a direct-to-client model. We design fully customised suits — from the fabric choice to the finest cut detail — with over 35 body measurements taken by our team. The result is a unique garment, made exclusively for you, at a fair price from €449.
An off-the-rack suit is built on generic patterns that rarely match your real anatomy. A bespoke suit is built from your exact measurements, adapting to your shoulders, torso and posture. The result is a visibly better fit, more comfort and a silhouette that elevates your presence. Plus, by choosing every detail — fabric, lapel, lining, button stance — you get a garment that reflects your personal style.
The process is simple: you book a free 45-minute appointment with your Style Advisor, who takes your measurements and guides you through fabric, cut and details. Your suit is made to measure and shipped to your door. If you need any adjustment, we cover it.
Not at all. Your Style Advisor will guide you through every decision: from which fabric suits the occasion to which lapel style flatters your build. You don't need to know anything — that's what we're for.
Completely. While we offer in-person measuring at our Madrid, Barcelona and Seville showrooms, our measurement system is built for precision and backed by our perfect-fit guarantee. If the suit needs any correction, we cover the alterations at no extra cost.
Measurements and fit
Our team is made of specialists in bespoke pattern-making. We take more than 35 body measurements to build a pattern that adapts to your real anatomy — including posture, shoulder slope and build. This level of detail is what sets a bespoke suit apart from a standard one.
We offer a fit guarantee: if your suit needs correction after delivery, we cover the cost of alterations at a professional tailor. Our commitment is your full satisfaction.
Yes. After your first order, your measurements are stored securely in your client account. For future orders, the process becomes much simpler: we already know your body and preferences, so each new garment is faster and more accurate.
Our garments include seam allowance at key areas — waist, hip and chest — that allows adjustments of up to 2-3 cm in each direction. If you experience a significant change in weight, contact our team and we'll find the best solution.
Your measurements are available in your client area, under 'My measurements'. For any change, contact our team at support@bundcompany.com and we'll update your profile before the next order.
Customisation
Practically everything. You choose the fabric from our premium collection sourced in Italy, Australia and Spain. You also customise: lapel type (peak, notch or shawl), button stance (single or double-breasted), pocket type, inner lining, buttons, stitching, lapel buttonhole and monogram. Every detail is yours to decide.
We work with fabrics from the world's best mills. For a versatile all-round suit we recommend Super 120s-130s wool in medium weight (280-320 g/m²): the best balance of hand-feel, durability and crease resistance. For summer, we have tropical wools and linen blends. Your Style Advisor will guide you based on occasion and climate.
Our option catalogue is broad, but we keep expanding customisation possibilities. If you have a special request, write to support@bundcompany.com and we'll look into making it happen.
Our suits are made at our production workshop in Shanghai, under direct supervision of our team. Fabrics come from the best mills in Italy, Australia and Spain. Design, digital patterning and client service are managed entirely from Spain.
Yes. We design corporate tailoring programmes with full customisation for companies. Brands like Audemars Piguet and Marriott already trust us to dress their teams. Visit our corporate section or contact us for a bespoke quote.
Timelines and shipping
Standard lead time from measurement to delivery is approximately 8 weeks. Morning coats and ceremonial suits require a minimum of 12 weeks. Since these are individually made garments, timelines may vary slightly during peak periods.
Shipping is free across mainland Spain for orders over €130. As this is bespoke tailoring, the vast majority of orders cross that threshold.
Given the artisan nature of each garment, we don't offer accelerated production. Each suit requires a careful tailoring process we won't compromise. Order well in advance, especially for events.
Yes, we ship to selected countries. Contact our team at support@bundcompany.com to confirm availability and shipping conditions for your location.
You can cancel within the first 24 hours after confirmation. After that window, production has already started and cancellation isn't possible, since the garment is made exclusively to your specifications.
Care and maintenance
Always keep it hung on a broad-shouldered hanger (preferably wood) inside the breathable garment bag we include with every piece. Avoid wire hangers and plastic bags — they don't let the fabric breathe. Leave enough space in the wardrobe so the piece isn't compressed.
Less than you think. Dry-cleaning wears down the fabric. For regular use, once every 3-6 months is enough. Between cleanings, gently brush the suit with a clothes brush after each wear, air it for a few hours and use steam to remove light creases.
A well-cared-for bespoke suit lasts 8 to 12 years of regular wear. The key is the construction: our garments use quality canvassing that adapts to the body over time, unlike fused industrial suits that tend to deteriorate and delaminate after a few years. In cost per wear, bespoke is a smarter investment long-term.
For light stains, act quickly: press a damp cloth gently on the area without rubbing. For tougher stains, go to a professional dry-cleaner that hand-presses (avoid automatic pressing machines). Never apply aggressive products directly on the fabric.
Best technique: fold the jacket inside out — with shoulders tucked into each other — and place it flat on top of the suitcase. Another option is a rigid garment bag. On arrival, hang the suit and let creases release naturally, or apply light steam.
Weddings and events
We recommend starting 4 to 6 months before the event date. That allows time for tailoring (8 weeks), delivery and margin for minor adjustments. For morning coats and ceremonial suits, the minimum is 12 weeks — so start at least 5-6 months ahead.
Of course. We handle full groups for weddings and events. Each person can be measured at any of our showrooms or remotely, and we guarantee absolute consistency in fabric and colour across the group. Contact us to coordinate an efficient process.
We offer full groom suits, ceremonial morning coats, best-man suits and garments for guests. Each option is fully customisable: fabric, colour, lapel, waistcoat, lining with embroidered dedication and any detail you want to add to your wedding look.
A common concern. Our garments include seam allowance for adjustments up to 2-3 cm. Schedule the final fitting as close to the event as possible. If the change is larger, our team will work with you to find the best solution.
Payment and policy
We accept credit and debit cards through our secure online platform. At our showrooms we also take cash. Every transaction is protected with SSL encryption.
